Permit Place is devoted to social change through active participation in charitable activities, events, and organizations. Our current project, Partners Ending Violence is a joint-venture with the University of Cal Poly Pomona Stop Violence Office. Partners Ending Violence was spearheaded in 2007 and aims to end tolerance of intimate violence by encouraging responsibility throughout the community. Partners Ending Violence VisionPartners Ending Violence is a ground-breaking endowment campaign building bridges between non-profit and commercial entities willing to make an active commitment toward social change in their shared communities. Their combined efforts strive to foster education, encourage volunteerism, and garner financial support at levels greater and more effectual than each organization could achieve on their own. Central to their united purpose is to protect the communities they serve, and beyond, from dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking and end the silence that allow these injustices to persist unchallenged. When we say, "Stop permitting violence," we acknowledge that to say, "I don't want to talk about it;" "I don't want to think about it;" "I don't want to know about it" is to grant abusers a permission slip to terrorize our homes, victimize our families, and imprison those victims with a sentence of silence and shame. Help us start the conversation. DonationsTo ensure that your funding goes to Partners Ending Violence please take the following steps: 1) Make your check payable to the Stop Violence Office and include "Partners Ending Violence" in the check memo line.
