Four Items Required in All Jurisdictions
You absolutely must have these four requirements ready before even trying to apply for a building permit in almost all jurisdictions in the United States.
  • Assessor tax parcel number - usually 10 digit number
  • Full legal description
  • Site Plan drawn to scale
  • Good estimate of cost of the proposed construction
